Daniel Glassman of Crowell & Moring has been appointed as co-chair of the Orange County Bar Association Mandatory Fee Arbitration Committee (MFA). He fills the vacancy created by the appointment of Kimberly Knill as a California superior court judge. Glassman will serve with current MFA Co-chair Eric Blum. The OCBA MFA Committee arbitrates disputes between attorneys and clients concerning the attorney’s fees and costs. The OCBA MFA Program conducts arbitrations as set forth in the Business and Professions Code § 6200-6206. An attorney/client fee dispute can be arbitrated by the OCBA MFA Program if the attorney has an office in Orange County, or a majority of the services were rendered in Orange County.
